Professional Learning for Equity and Inclusion

Educators are deeply committed to doing what is best for students. As reflective practitioners, we have a keen sense for student learning and awareness of our own areas for continued professional growth. We also know that many of the challenges we face in our classrooms and schools exist within larger systems of oppression. We encounter inequity all the time, and we do what we can to push for change. However, we cannot do it alone—we need collective action. PLACE offers a range of programs for educators, administrators, and school leaders to connect with like-minded peers, committing the time and sustained effort necessary to create systemic change. Through communities of practice, you will find inspiration, solidarity, and accountability. We know how important this work is, and we need to do it together.
